We were on our way to Rothesay by ferry and the departure point for the ferry was at this station.
Now I would not normally put train stations down as special but this one really is and must be one of the finest in Britain.
Designed by architect James Miller the iron work design is magnificent and has been completely restored. The centre of the station is round and the iron work continues along the ferry terminal passage and platforms.
A great surprise.
