Cathedral - A magnificent Cathedral in one of Britain's smallest
cities, a must visit for you if in the South West of England. We visited this Cathedral on a cold wet day in February. Work started in 1180 and the main structure was completed about 50 years later. The West front (outside) contains one of the largest galleries of medieval sculpture in the world. You will be amazed at the interior which will take your breath away. Why not join in Evensong held daily late afternoons. More beautiful places - click here! |
