Vann Garden

Vann - A wonderful garden that it is worth making the effort to see on the days when it opens for the NGS - the woodland water garden (pictured here) was designed with Gertrude Jekyll and is quite spectacular.  There are also colourful mixed herbaceous borders and a winding stream - all surrounding a house that dates back to the 16th century (not open to public, but an excellent backdrop to the garden).  Best views of the house and its lovely pergola are from the other side of the pond at the rear.
