Railway - Take yourself back in time and have a ride on a steam
train weaving through the Dorset countryside to Corfe Castle. Enid Blyton was inspired by the countryside around here for her 'famous five' stories. At Corfe take time to visit the castle ruins before you return to Swanage Station where there is a souvenir shop. Not all the trains are headed by steam engines so make sure you enquire beforehand. This is a great day out for all the family with plenty more to do in the pretty seaside town. More beautiful places - click here! |
