| Stockbridge
is one of Hampshire's most beautiful small towns nestled in the Test
Valley. The River Test - runs through it in several places and is
famous for its trout fishing - at a cost though!. You can also see the
trout swimming in the river underneath the watching eyes of the many
ducks. The town has a good selection of shops to browse, a tearoom and pubs. Nearby is Mottisfont Abbey the most famous rose garden in Britain. We lived near here in the 'eighties' when our family was young - such a lovely place. More beautiful places - click here! |
