| This
is one of the most beautiful places in Britain. I always remember
driving down the windy road to St. Ives and when you turn the final bend
you see the town in sunshine and the sea in a magnificent blue. There are 3 lovely sandy beaches - great for the kids. The town itself is full of lanes to discover with plenty of private shops, galleries and restaurants. Barbara Hepworth famous for her sculptures lived here and her studio is open to the public. To get there I would recommend parking at St Erth Station and taking a train for a scenic ride. If you want you can get off at Carbis Bay and walk the final mile along the coastal path.
