Plockton must be one of the loveliest places in Scotland.
It is set in a sheltered position overlooking Loch Carron on the Western Coast of Scotland amidst mountain scenery.
The main street has pretty cottages with pretty gardens overlooking the sea. Amongst the houses are several hotels - we stayed at the Plockton Hotel with a lovely room overlooking the sea.
Plockton is a special place and an ideal centre for exploring the local area.
We will go back!
