Manor walk - This is one of my favourite walks covering about 4 miles of stunning coastal scenery. Starting off at St. Mawes you catch the small ferry across the estuary to a landing point adjoining Place Manor ( not open to the public ). Follow the footpath to the right until you reach a road which takes you behind the church. Now follow the coastal path as indicated on the map before returning inland. Highlights include- St. Anthony's Church (normally open) dating back to the 14th century. St.Anthony's Lighthouse built in 1835 Great Molunan Cove - sandy beach. Tea Room at St Anthony's head |
