Churchyard - This precious step back in time is a little gift to all
who drive through. The quiet fog hangs
over the 100 year old Yew trees in the church yard, making them appear as gnomes. The churchyard has a collection of chest tombs from the 1700's. The "clipping the church" ceremony in September
is particularly quaint and a must see. It makes one want to whisper so as to not wake the slumbering passed on. Also take time to visit the beautiful Painswick Rococo Garden More beautiful places - click here! |
