Lulworth Cove on the Jurrasic Coast, Dorset is the perfect bay surrounded by limestone cliffs and hills, the perfect picture postcard.
We first visited here around 40 years ago and whilst the place is as beautiful as ever, it is now more popular than ever, so best visited out of season and school holidays if you can. If you have children it does not really matter, they will love the sandy pebbly beach  and all the shops!
Take a walk along the coastal paths however and you will soon lose the crowds to enjoy the spectacular scenery.
