| This
is one of our favourite canal side walks starting at Wooton Rivers
and going along the tow path for about 2.5 miles to Pewsey
where you can stop at the canalside pub for refreshments. Along the way you will see plenty of canal boats making their sedate way along the waters. You will also see plenty of wildlife, flowers and some great scenery. If you are lucky you will also see Kingfishers. Building on the canal started in1794 to provide a link between Bristol and London and reopened in 1990. More beautiful places - click here! |
