walk, whether a gentle saunter round the village, an easy, low-level
route, or a strenuous mountain climb, there are plenty to choose from.
This view of Grasmere is taken from a pleasant climb up to a small like
called Alcock Tarn. On return to the village, you can take your
pick from a choice of cafes and pubs for refreshments. Dove
