Amazing
views can be had from these chalk downs situated just south of
Shaftesbury. Various tracks lead from the Fontmell Down car park and
after a good walk why not relax and have a picnic. Look out for
butterflys and wild flowers.
Further up the hill is Compton Abbas airfield where you can watch light
aircraft or book a sightseeing flight. There is also a good restaurant
