to the south of Swanage on this beautiful coastline is the Durlston
Country Park. If you love nature this is the place to come. Visit any time of year but particularly beautiful in summer for lovely displays of wildflowers and butterflys. Great place for walks. In spring and autumn Durlston is a stopping off point for migrating birds. Seabirds nest on the craggy cliffs and if you are lucky you may see dolphins. The stone 'Globe' will be of interest to children. Visitor centre. |
