| This
wonderful national trust scenic walk at Allen
Banks and Staward Gorge in ancient woodland and near the North Tyne
is very pretty and peaceful. The river babbles over rocks and
pebbles. On a high promontory with Staward Wood are the remains of
a medieval pele tower and there is a reconstructed Victorian
summerhouse. More beautiful places - click here! |
